Getting started with Portalkey
- Click on a 'pincode' to enter address and other details for each property (once familiar with the system, users typically take about 5 minutes to enter a new property). We will enter a couple of sample properties for you to refer to - and detailed step-by-step instructions appear on screen.
- Provide each property featured on your website with a link to add their room descriptions, rates and availability into Portalkey. A property Reservations Manager, or other designated staff, would need about 1 hour to enter their rates and availability into the system (depending on complexity of rate structure).
- Telephone and online support is available. On-site training is not necessary but available if required.
- After entering rates and availability, you and the properties can make as many test reservations as you wish.
- We provide you with links and coding for your webmaster to add to your website page(s), replacing your existing reservations links.
Maintaining Portalkey
- After initial data entry, it takes properties just minutes to update rates and availability when required.
- Room allocations (availability) can be increased, decreased or closed out 24 hours a day.
- New Reservations can be viewed daily, or weekly, as necessary. Reservations Staff at each property will receive an auto-generated confirmation email each time a guest makes a reservation at their property.
- Special Offers can be added to Portalkey, any time.
